C library of sparse linear solvers

Official package sites : http://www.tau.ac.il/~stoledo/taucs/ ·

TAUCS is a C library of sparse linear solvers. The current version of the library (1.0) includes the following functionality: * Multifrontal Supernodal Cholesky Factorization. * Left-Looking Supernodal Cholesky Factorization. * Drop-Tolerance Incomplete-Cholesky Factorization. * Out-of-Core, Left-Looking Supernodal Sparse Cholesky Factorization. * Out-of-Core Sparse LU with Partial Pivoting Factor and Solve. * Ordering Codes and Interfaces to Existing Ordering Codes. * Multilevel-Support-Graph Preconditioners. * Matrix Operations. * Matrix Input/Output. * Matrix Generators. * Iterative Solvers. * Vaidya's Preconditioners. * Recursive Vaidya's Preconditioners. * Multilevel-Support-Graph Preconditioners. * Utility Routines

*/*: update sci-libs/{,par}metis revdeps
ParMETIS on the one hand no longer installs bundled METIS and on the other unconditionally depends on MPI. Therefore, only keep it in ebuilds which use MPI themselves and depend on METIS directly otherwise. Note that some of the alleged sci-libs/parmetis revdeps might in fact not use even when they use MPI, as none of these revdeps have actually explicitly requested sci-libs/parmetis[mpi]. proj/gentoo: Initial commit
This commit represents a new era for Gentoo: Storing the gentoo-x86 tree in Git, as converted from CVS. This commit is the start of the NEW history. Any historical data is intended to be grafted onto this point. Creation process: 1. Take final CVS checkout snapshot 2. Remove ALL ChangeLog* files 3. Transform all Manifests to thin 4. Remove empty Manifests 5. Convert all stale $Header$/$Id$ CVS keywords to non-expanded Git $Id$ 5.1. Do not touch files with -kb/-ko keyword flags. Signed-off-by: Robin H.
